Uniqlo is opening two new stores in Ontario this year
Japanese global apparel retailer Uniqlo is officially opening four new stores in Canada this upcoming spring and summer, including two new locations in Ontario.
The casual wear designer opened its first Canadian location in 2016 and, over the past nine years, has opened over two dozen locations across the country.
The newest additions to the brand's roster of stores in Ontario will be located at the Maple View Shopping Centre in Burlington and Union Station in Toronto, bringing Uniqlo's grand total of stores in Canada to 33. Both of the locations are slated to open sometime before the fall 2025 season.
Uniqlo, which is headquartered in Tokyo, is the largest of eight brands in Fast Retailing Group, which recorded global sales of approximately US $21.39 billion in the 2024 fiscal year.
Last year, the retailer launched several locations across the GTA, including stores at Sherway Gardens, Heartland Town Centre in Mississauga, and Bramalea City Centre in Brampton.
