It's anything but a quiet Thursday night in the city... get loud and get proud, 'cause tonight's the night the InsideOut Film Fest kicks off.

Toronto's Lesbian and Gay Film and Video Festival runs May 19-29th. Ticket prices range (i'll break that down in a sec) but before you break out the credit cards to get your advance tix, break out a different kind of plastic -- yes, very Bono vinyl pants you've been storing away -- and hit the dancefloor for the Opening Gala Party tonight at 5ive.

Toronto's own djs supreme, Denise Benson & Andrew Allsgood provide the music and there are supposed to be some "surprises" along the way. Hmmm.... Tickets for tonight's party are $10.

Screenings this year take place at a number of different cinemas around the city including the Isabel Bader, Cumberland, NFB, Varsity and the Goethe Institute. Every single one, wheelchair accessible.

Prices(including GST) break down like this:

$8 Youth(18-23) & Seniors and $10.75 for a regular single ticket -- $7.50 for matinees! There are also $5 youth tix to the all-ages screenings. Furthermore, a book of 8 vouchers is available for $75 if you're feeling really keen.
