Star Gazing at TIFF

After failing to get some last-minute tickets yesterday, I found myself in front of the Four Seasons hotel "star gazing." I was shocked to see that so many people would stand outside a hotel waiting for a slim chance of seeing a celebrity for a few seconds.

As loser-esque as it sounds, I had a good time just hanging around waiting for some celebrities to grace me with their presence. Having a camera also made the whole thing seem like some form of hunting (not that I hunt) or fishing (I don't fish).

Jason Schwartzman clearly had a good time with the crowd. He waved and basked in the attention. Hopkins was the most active with the crowd since he took time to sign autographs.

On the other side of things was non other than Johnny Depp. His entourage cleared the crowd then literally floored it out of the hotel. I was on the wrong side of the two SUVs to see all the Depp would show to the crowd, a waving hand. Apparently he likes to stay below the radar.

What I found most interesting was that I actually had a good time. I have no idea which celebrity looks like what or who they may or may not be doing. So if you can't get into any films I suggest you go hang out in Yorkville and go star gazing, as long as you have a fun friend who knows celebrity info.
