Sitting Bricks: the Story of the Don Valley Brickworks

While it has already lost much of its allure as a photographer's playground, greater things have been in the works for the Don Valley Brickworks. In recent years, exhibits have graced the space, a farmer's market brought goodies our way, and there were even yoga classes put on there.

Check out this informative short documentary created by 3rd year students at Ryerson that highlights some of the important roles the historical site has played, and gives us a glimpse of things to come in 2009.

While we've known about the impending changes for a while now, it's great see that a lot of care and consideration for preservation and integration of the original structures is going into the Evergreen Don Valley Brickworks project.
