If you've ever been interested in insect sex, you're in luck. This year's Hot Docs lineup includes Green Porno, a series of shorts where Isabella Rossellini and Jody Shapiro examine the intricacies of insect lovin'.

Insect sex isn't for everyone, and Hot Docs' diverse lineup — announced yesterday at a press conference at Revival — has enough going for it to satiate all kinds of film enthusiasts.

Now in its sixteenth year, Hot Docs is one of Toronto's premiere film festivals and is North America's largest documentary festival. This year's lineup includes over 170 films from 36 countries, and several special programmes including Made In Mexico, Spotlight on Iran, and new programme Next which features films that examine the artistic process.

Hot Docs kicks off on April 17 with special presentations of Anvil! The Story of Anvil and the much-talked-about Air India 182, Sturla Gunnarsson's insightful look at the largest terrorist attack in Canadian history.
