The top 10 movies in Canada from 2015

The Toronto International Film Festival announced its picks for Canada's Top Ten Film Festival last night. This annual event celebrates Canadian filmmaking, throwing the spotlight not only on high-profile features, but also on shorts and student films.

Many of the top 10 movies, like Closet Monster and My Internship In Canada, won acclaim at TIFF this past September, so it comes as no surprise that they made this year's list.

You can see these top picks from January 8 to 17, 2016 at the TIFF Bell Lightbox along with Q&As following each screening. Tickets for TIFF members go on sale today; everyone else will have to wait until December 16.

Along with the movies, TIFF will be hosting a talk with Kiefer Sutherland. You can snag a ticket for $20.
