Sixteen Eleven Studios

Sixteen Eleven Studios is Brockton Village's newest and most multipurpose venue.

Owner and Founder; Kelsi Gayda tells me, "It was always my dream to open up my own photography studio." Last year, she made this dream a reality by opening Sixteen Eleven Studios, which just celebrated its first birthday.

Sixteen Eleven Studios has several other functions apart from being a blank canvas for photography projects. "By day we're a cafe, gallery space and production studio and by night we’re an event space," Gayda explains.

Sixteen Eleven StudiosThe venue's funky, mid-century modern design aesthetic, complete with a free standing lipstick mirror, waterfall benches and disco ball, make it an adorable place to host a party or art show.

Sixteen Eleven StudiosThe full service bar is equipped exclusively with an enviable collection of vintage glassware.

The menu of specialty drinks is pricey, but experimental offerings like frozen aperol spritzes ($16) and lychee martinis ($16) tempted my wallet.

sixteen eleven studios"Something I think is really unique to the space is its versatility," says Gayda.

Private parties, workshops, art exhibitions, pop up shops and fashion shows are among some of the events Sixteen Eleven Studios has hosted in the past. However Gayda states, "I’m open to anything that aligns with the space."

Sixteen Eleven Studios"The vision and mission of this space is to bring an accessible space to the creative community," Gayda enthuses.

One way Gayda goes about this is by using her photography background to provide support to those who rent out the studio space, in the form of equipment and guidance.

Sixteen Eleven StudiosBimonthly, Gayda handpicks local artists to use the venue as a gallery space to showcase their work.

These exhibits run for two to four weeks and include an opening night party for the artist.

Sixteen Eleven StudiosGayda explains rates are dependent on the scale and nature of the event, but she does offer discounts for events that are community-oriented.

For those interested in booking the space she advises, "Just reach out and we can make something happen."

Sixteen Eleven StudiosI for one cannot wait to sip any one of Sixteen Eleven Studios' signature cocktails out a vintage martini glass at their next event.
