Rock Out This Canada Day

Still don't know what you're doing for Canada Day? Put aside thoughts of just having a quaint BBQ and make this year's celebration a more rockin' one.

You've heard me ranting and raving about Rumsfield. So if you haven't had the chance to check them out yet, then I suggest you hit up the Fun Haus on Queen Street. The good news is that the bands are hot, the sound system is intense and the space is comfortable. The bad news is that drinks will cost you premium price. Evenso, it's a guaranteed good time for indie rock fans who dig a careful blend of singing and screaming.

Or perhaps you're in the mood for something really big and insane. In that case, you can head to the Molson Amphitheatre for Edgefest 2005, featuring Billy Talent, Alexis On Fire, Hostage Life, Boy, Jakalope, Rise Against, Social Code, and The Waking Eyes. Tickets are $47.50 unless you're one of the lucky ones to grab them at $10.21.

This is just a little headsup!
