I was wondering what had happened to last year's Honey Jam winner Lori Nuic when I heard her new joint "Rear View" on the radio. Okay so maybe I wasn't wondering, but the funky joint (produced by hip hop artist/producer Saukrates) ain't half bad.

When I heard her at the Mod Club, I remember thinking Nuic's got a super sultry and soulful voice that will no doubt have hack journalists dubbing her Toronto's answer to Joss Stone.

And to those snickering at my headline, get your minds out the gutter.
