Over The Top Fest schedule announced

The Over The Top Fest has announced (most of) it's 2006 bands, and it looks like the first weekend in May is going to be chaotic good times:

Schedule! - GO! - Click! - HERE.

The line-up certainly has something for everyone, but this blogTO'er goes out on a treacherous limb and recommends:

May 4: belongs to Sneaky Dee's, for the ear-bleeding, sweat-your-cares away punk dance party of NYC's Japanther. BYOSH (bring your own safety helmet).
May 5: This is a toughie. Ninja High School are super sweet (as is their website), but I have a feeling there'll be no more sweat or blood left in me from the Japanther onslaught, so the Lovely Feathers get the nod. After their opening stint for Metric last year, I'd like to see & hear more.
May 6: Detroit's PAS/CAL have won me over big time, so even though the Halifax Pop showcase looks really tempting (Sour Keys! Jenn Grant!), I won't be missing PAS/CAL for all the potatos in PEI. If you're a twee-pop fan, seriously, have a listen to the demos on their site and you will agree. You will!
May 7: Closing night acts have not yet been announced, but DAMN, I'm excited.

All tickets go on sale next Thursday, March 16th, at your usual suspects' locations.
