Bloc Party After Party at the Social

Earlier this year, Bloc Party came out with one of the more anticipated albums of the year. A follow-up to their critically acclaimed Silent Alarm, A Weekend in the City is the band's second full-length album. It has been greeted with a lukewarm reception, but that hasn't stopped the band from selling out shows in North America and Europe.

This weekend, the princes of Brit Pop roll into Toronto for a performance at the Kool Haus Sunday night. Fans who failed to get a ticket to the sold out show, can pay a fraction of the ticket price and see members of the band at the after party

After Bloc Party performs, the boys will be rushed to the Social where front man Kele Okereke will guest DJ. It's a rare chance to see Kele spin his favourite records and with Wild Whore Kids sharing deck duties, it's well worth the $5 cover.
