A fresh new open mic night has come to my attention, and while I sit here contemplating whether or not to dust off the old Ibanez, I figure I'll share the details with all the other musicians up early enough to be cruising blogTO this morn.

Host, Emma-lee and Toronto electronic-pop performer, Sarah Shafey (pictured) will warm up the stage (and crowd) tomorrow, April 24th, for "Open Stage" at the Renaissance Cafe.

Anyone is welcome but plan to be there at least an hour early to sign up if you're set on performing.

Showtime is 9pm. Cover = FREE.

Renaissance Cafe is located at 1938 Danforth Ave, one block west of Woodbine.

Maybe I'll see you there.
