Contest: Win Tickets to Rogers Picnic at Fort York

On Sunday July 29th, the grounds at Fort York will be devoid of soldiers and history lessons and will instead be bustlin' with a diverse mix of concert-goers. It should be a fantastic day-long summer festival featuring a rather eclectic music lineup.

The inaugural Rogers Picnic brings us rock, punk, ska, reggae, hip-hop, and more courtesy of The Roots, Bedouin Soundclash, Bad Brains, Little Brother, Apostle of Hustle, Tegan and Sara, The New Pornographers, The Dears, and Team Canada DJs.

blogTO will be there and we also have a couple of pairs of tickets to give away to our readers. Continue reading for contest entry details.

1. The person who places a comment at 2pm (or closest to 2pm, but not before) will win a pair of tickets. If more than one person places a comment at 2pm the prize will go to whoever's comment shows up first.

2. We'll then give a second pair of tickets away at 3pm (same rules as #2).

Please don't place more than one comment per hour. To be eligible, you can't have posted more than one comment within a one hour time frame. It's about timing and luck, and a couple of readers will have both today! Winners will be contacted by email, so be sure to fill out the email field with a valid address.

Rogers Picnic goes down on July 29th at Fort York. Tix $49.50. Gates at 3pm.
