NO SHAME: Spy Machine 16

Spy Machine 16 is a power-punk band from Guelph. All of their songs sound like they're from the punk movement where the government isn't welcome in your bedroom. For those who've heard of the band, there are two things you automatically know: 1) they are political, anti-imperialists and, 2) they will set the dance floor on fire. The band was featured on this week's Tornoto Independent Music Podcast (#77). Have a listen!

Now for the good stuff: Spy Machine 16 is celebrating the release of their CD entitled 'How Things Come Apart' on Thursday night at Toronto's ever-growing weekly music shindig, NO SHAME. Along with them will be the fantastic Waterloo techno crunk-tet, Bocce. Disco-House group OPOPO will join the ranks along with a damce-pop band from Ottawa called F!GHTF!GHTF!GHT.

For those who don't have a busy Friday morning, utilize all of your energy into this Thursday night for what promises to be a crazy night at The Tiger Bar.
