Teenage Stars Galore at FamilyFest 2007

I'm giving you the permission to laugh at me before I make my admission: I'm a (small) fan of Disney's High School Musical. I mean, in a "can't bear to look away" sense, I promise.

So for those of you that haven't already lost respect for me — and especially for those of you who can understand my minor fandom — here's a piece of good news: Corbin Bleu and Drew Seeley (the guy that sang in place of Zac Efron in the first HSM) will be at Downsview Park this weekend as part of FamilyFest 2007.

Bleu and Seeley will be joined by other teenage stars such as Keshia Chante, Jesse McCartney, Eva Avila and Drake Bell (who was awesome on The Amanda Show) at Downsview Park on Sunday, September 2, as part of the Fam Jam at FamilyFest. The accompanying Junior Jam will feature famous children's performers Fred Penner, Caillou, and Franklin the Turtle.

FamilyFest kicks off at noon on Sunday and promises to be an afternoon of fun for the whole family before school starts up again. If you're in town for the long weekend and your kids are looking at back-to-school with dread — or if you're just a fan of HSM, of course — FamilyFest might be the best way to get everyone psyched for the fall.

You can get more information on FamilyFest at the Downsview Park website.
