Familiar Folk Rocking The Boat

Toronto-based indie folk label Familiar Music (FM) will be gently rocking The Boat on Thursday night. In the next installment of Pitter Patter Nights, all four artists that make up the FM label will be giving much anticipated live performances.

Megan Hamilton:
Megan spent time this summer touring her album how we think about light, which continues to shine in the press. Check out a recent interview with Megan on blogTO.

Steve Puchalski / Deromantic:
A bit of a mystery to me, I've only had the chance to listen to one song from Steve Puchalski. With an EP set for release less than a month from now, we can likely expect a few more from him on Thursday night and if his other stuff is anything like Easy There Chico we're in for a treat.

Shelby Lamb:
I've had a not-so-secret crush on Shelby and her music for quite some time, but never manage to have any pretzels handy. Her song Roam is especially delicate and lamenting yet radiant and hopeful. Definitely check it out on her myspace.

Products of Better Living:
Since Products of Better Living last performed live (which was many moons ago), I've been dying for a chance to hear Gary Peter sing again. He exudes inspiration and charm like no other.
