In The Window: James Blake, Gangrene (Oh No & Alchemist), and Skeletons

In this week's installment of In The Window I took an unpleasant spring stroll to Play De Record, where you'll find a mix of rock, rap, and electro records.

On account of the weather — and the fact that Play De Record doesn't display a whole lot of albums in their window — I took the camera inside and had a look at the store's main display. Here's what's on offer.

ALBUMS

Jason from Play De Record recommends...

James Blake - Self Titled
"A really hot record right now - it's really blowing up. He does a Feist cover on the album that's really great. Just a good album all the way through."

Gangrene (Oh No & The Alchemist) - Gutter Water
"Great underground hip-hop record. Anyone into underground hip-hop should really check this out."

Skeletons - Smile
"We actually helped put out this record. It's like European jazz/funk. It's the same producer behind Nostalgia 77 from England - [Nostalgia 77] is actually putting out another album this Friday called Sleepwalking Society

Jason ends by explaining that "the record store used to be predominately a DJ shop, but we're spreading out to different genres that we feel are cool. We're definitely a little different than the other shops."
