New live music venue opening near Toronto with a concert from a local rock legend

Ontario's newest concert venue is set to open its doors next week, and it's kicking things off with a performance by a Canadian rock legend.

While Stouffville might not immediately strike you as a hub for live music in Ontario, Harmony Music Hall, York Region's newest venue for concerts, community events and dancing, is gearing up to open its doors for a fall season chock-full of moving and grooving.

Taking over the historic Vandorf Community Hall, the venue features aching ceilings, wood interiors and a huge stage that's suitable for performances of all kinds, giving the space all the charm of a small-town legion or church hall paired with the a contemporary edge and curated lineup.

Once the concert's over, you can head down to the venue's cozy basement lounge which includes a full-service bar, arcade games and a selection of comfortable seating areas.

After months of anticipation and renovations, the music venue is set to officially open its doors on Saturday, Oct. 19, and are kicking things off with an epic grand opening concert.
