Taylor Swift shares message to Toronto fans after 6 'incredible' shows
Taylor Swift fans are reminiscing about the six Eras Tour shows that took over Toronto from Nov. 14 to 23, and so is Taylor herself.
Ahead of the final three Eras Tour shows in Vancouver, the singer took the time to thank Toronto and the Swifties who travelled from near and far to attend her concerts.
Taylor Swift posted to Instagram to show her gratitude for Toronto, sharing a long note, along with a series of photos from her time here.
"Our 6 shows in Toronto were so incredible. It was awesome to play in Canada after so much time. As always, the fans in Toronto treated us like it was a hometown show," the singer wrote.
Her caption continued, "Couldn’t have asked for more love or generosity from the people who came out. I got to play a mashup of the *Grammy-nominated* song 'Us' with @gracieabrams, mashed up with 'Out of the Woods' and I just adore her. She's been giving the most amazing performances every night on this tour!!"
Swift also mentioned the fact that soon, the Eras Tour will be coming to an end with the final three shows scheduled for Dec. 6, 7, and 8 in Vancouver, B.C.
"The emotions have gotten pretty heightened for me and the rest of the team because it's gotten extremely real for us: Our next city will be the last one of The Eras Tour, and the closing of the most extraordinary chapter of my life so far. See you soon, Vancouver. We can't wait to give you all we've got for three more shows," the note concluded.
Living in the city and seeing how fans came together to celebrate Taylor Swift through themed festivities, gatherings, and fun outfits, I can attest that the Eras Tour was truly a magical time in Toronto.
If you weren't able to attend the Eras Tour in Toronto and want to be a part of the experience before it comes to an end, you'll have to be willing to dish out some serious dough.
The only tickets available to any of the last three shows are through resale websites, with the cheapest ticket I could find priced at $1573 for the Dec. 6 show.
Swifties, it's time to emotionally prepare for the end of the Eras Tour and all I have to say is we were enchanted to have had you here in Toronto, Taylor.
