Dozens of G20 charges dropped
Several dozen charges were dropped today as over 300 people appeared in court to face G20-related charges.
Individuals who had their charges dropped, including Christopher Miller who was arrested for or writing "Shame on You" outside police headquarters on June 29, were not required to admit any guilt. Probably would've taken too long to run through everyone anyhow.
Charges were withdrawn for some in exchange for a charity donation. Others are required to return to court at a later date.
Crown Attorney Vince Paris said charges were withdrawn as part of a "diversion" process.
