Death From Above 1979 to reunite at Coachella
Death From Above 1979, the mid 2000s Toronto-based dance-punk duo is getting back together to play Coachella this year. This news comes a bit of surprise because not only have the two musicians, Sebastien Grainger and Jesse Keeler, taken pretty different paths since parting ways, but it's not as if they left on the best of terms. EYE Weekly cites a 2008 interview with Grainger in which he noted that the breakup "was entirely personal" rather than based on musical differences.
No word yet if the pair plan on making a go of it for the second time post-Coachella.
