The Toronto Terrarea Club has created an edible landscape throughout the entire restaurant, serving as an all-you-can buffet that will have lucky guests gasping with awe and delight. Throughout the evening there will be a continuous loop of appropriately earthy videos projected on the front window, creating an atmosphere of wonder. Seating is limited!

THEATRE | The Lieutenant of Inishmore
This is the Canadian premiere of Martin McDonagh's just-off-Broadway play, "The Lieutenant of Inishmore". Mcdonagh's relentlessly dark sense of humour (he wrote and directed the film "In Bruges") turns a series of unlikely incidents into an examination of the futility and stupidity of violence - a bit like Monthy Python channeled through Quentin Tarantino. GALLERY | Opening Reception - Danish Modern: Suzanne Swannie
Suzanne Swannie is a Halifax-based designer and weaver who creates functional textiles, tapestries and large architectural installations for private and public environments. She is also known for unique fabric constructions such as the gallery installation Repassage. Both the woven works and the constructions display the "Danish Modern" principle of repetition as a means of generating surfaces and structures.

BENEFIT | A Sweet But Fair Affair
Engineers Without Borders Toronto presents an evening of wine and chocolate tasting, with a twist: all of the featured products are Fair Trade certified. Speakers will explain a bit about what it means to be Fair Trade and how you can help farmers in the developing world with your purchasing power, while money is being raised to send a Ministry of Food and Agriculture representative to Ghana, Africa.
