SERVICE | Tracy Wright Memorial
You may not know her by name, but any fan of Canadian cinema, or just cinema in general, will know Tracy Wright. She's the Canadian actress who stole scenes in such movies as Me and You and Everyone We Know and Monkey Warfare and on TV show's like Twitch City. She sadly died of this summer after a battle with pancreatic cancer and there is an open memorial for her tonight at the Hart House. The service will feature film clips from Wrights career, presented by family and friends. This service was purposly organized by longtime partner Don McKeller before two of her last films premiere next week at TIFF -- Trigger & You Are Here.

FESTIVAL | Brazilian Day
If you've been thinking to yourself "nothing has made Yonge-Dundas Square a super inconvenient place to get stuck in a while," you're in luck. A portion of Yonge St. will be shut down tomorrow to accommodate what is sure to be a huge dancing crowd celebrating Brazilian Day. There will be musical performances all day as well as food demonstrations, all hosted by Serginho Groisman. Last year over 30,000 people attended and I have a feeling this year they're trying to out do the Iggy show. Are you going to help them?

I can't think of any better way to spend your Monday than by heading over to a farmer's market. The Sorauren Farmer's Market is held every Sunday but this holiday Monday is extra special as there will be musical accompaniment by some smooth jazz singers, Danny De Poe and Vincent Bertucci, children's performer Allan Small and Blue Rodeo drummer Glenn Milchem. Either this combination will make you take your time and really look at everything the vendors have to offer, or get your green beans and run for the hills. Either way, you'll be getting your green beans.
