THEATRE | NT Live: Frankenstein
If you're pining for a little scare - for it really shouldn't only be allowed on our favourite spooky holiday - then tonight is for you. National Theatre presents their scariest production yet, Frankenstein and thanks to modern-day technology, which will be broadcasting live from the UK-located stage to downtown Toronto. Nick Dear is to thank for adapting Mary Shelley's most famous work and Jonny Lee Miller and Benedict Cumberbatch will star. This play is also directed by Danny Boyle who you may have heard about based on his Academy Award win for Best Director of Slumdog Millionaire. No big deal.

MUSIC | Simian Mobile Disco w/ Juan Maclean & Blondes
Celebrate your St. Patrick's Day with a little UK-infusion, courtesy of Simian Mobile Disco. These producers have been rocking the airwaves for years now, working with big artists such as Florence & the Machine and Arctic Monkeys on top of their own project. They will be taking the stage at The Phoenix tonight, with a DJ set courtesy of Juan Maclean and performance by Blondes.

ART | Stark
In this dynamic photography exhibition, "the unpredictability of emotional human conditions" is revealed through a series of telling and provocative portraits. For photography nuts and amateurs alike, this show will provide inspiration and a creative thought or two. The opening reception kicks off the exhibit tonight, which is only running until Tuesday so you don't want to miss out before it's too late to catch Stark.

THEATRE | Montparnasse
The stage production of Montparnasse explores Paris, art and the world of nude models in the 1920s. This show offers a unique and telling portrayal of a monumental decade of art, in one of the most romantic and imaginative cities in the world. Montparnasse will expose the artists of the time, such as Henry Miller, Sylvia Beech, Chaim Soutine and more.

FILM | Vanishing of the Bees - Documentary Screening
Many may not know, including myself prior to discovering this event, but currently there is something called Colony Collapse Disorder, where many bees are mysteriously dying in droves. Evergreen Brick Works wants to enlighten the kind-hearted people of Toronto by sharing their support of the cause. Tonight a special screening of Vanishing of the Bees - a documentary highlighting the plight will be held followed by a celebration of bees and the bounty they bring us.
