MUSIC | Front Line Assembly with Conjure One
Canadian electro-inductrial icons, Front Line Assembly, will take over The Mod Club tonight as part of their Improvised Electronic Device Tour. Formed back in the '80s by Bill Leeb after leaving Skinny Puppy, the band has had many lineup changes, but has had a strong foothold in the underground Industrial music scene since its formation. FLA are joined tonight by Cyanotic and Accurack, as well as Conjure One, led by Leeb's former collaborator, Rhys Fulber.
Mod Club Theatre (722 College Street) 7PM $30

CLUBS | Junk Shop @ The Piston
Join DJs Jorge and Jared tonight at The Piston for their weekly Monday night session: Junk Shop. Your ears are promised the sounds of "pre-to-post punk / garage / new wave". With all of the funk, soul, and disco offerings out there, it's definitely time for you to check out some retro with teeth!

MUSIC | Merzbow @ The Horseshoe
Merzbow, aka Masami Akita, is an internationally known noise artist/musician whose work is quite revered in the avant-garde and 'avant-rock' circles. He's been honing his game since the late '70s and has influenced several waves of 'outside' music making. He is joined tonight at The Horseshoe Tavern by Gates for a much anticipated gig that is sure to be well attended.
The Horseshoe Tavern (370 Queen Street West) 9PM $20

MUSIC | Elvis Monday
We all know there is "no rest for the wicked", and therefore, Rock 'n' Roll takes no holiday! Yes, you can count on Elvis being in the building tonight, just like every other Monday. Come on out and enjoy the sounds of Jumple, People of Canada, Gileads, Li'l Blues Pill, Christina Maria, and Timothy Jaromir.
