CULTURE

Doors Open Toronto
This weekend, over 135 of Toronto's coolest buildings will be opening their doors to the public and showcasing some of the people and organizations who have helped build our city. Socially, culturally, historically, and architecturally important buildings will be free to explore during the days. Buildings that are usually not open to the public (or which would charge an entrance fee) are available to everyone and lots of places have guided tours, while some are just free to explore on your own. Visit their website for a more thorough listing of the buildings who are participating and check out our preview post.
Various locations, May 26th and 27th.

SlutWalk Toronto 2012
SlutWalk Toronto began as an ironic comeback against the victim blaming and slut-that sometimes tragically accompanies sexual violence. SlutWalk invites you (yeah, you!) to come as you are--no matter your walk of life--dressed as you feel comfortable to hit the city streets. Let's take a stand for our bodies, our well-beings, and our minds.
