CULTURE | Ambrosia Hub Art Party - Loft 404
An interesting, multidisciplinary event centered around live music happens this evening at Loft 404, and is put together by Andrea Ramolo, whose band Scarlet Jane will among several performing tonight. Visual art, silent films, burlesque dancing, a brief theatrical performance and more, will give this party an extra dimension that is sure to be appreciated by live music lovers who have been pining for something a little bit different. Other musical acts appearing tonight include: Picture the Ocean, Sarah Burton, Faye Blais, Kristin Sweetland, and Melanie Brulee.

CULTURE | Ashkenaz Festival
The Ashkenaz Festival, which has been taking place since August 28th, ends today with a bang! There are many different events to be enjoyed, including a string "Masterclass," where you can a lot about the history of klezmer ensembles and their instrumentation. There will also be an exhibit of 'mystical' artist Ira Moskowitz's work, a discussion about Jewish music with Pete Sokolow, a parade, music with David Buchbinder, the Fern Lindzon Quartet, a presentation about the culture of a Ugandan Jewish community, and much, much more.
Various Venues at Harbourfront (235 Queen's Quay West) begins at 10AM

MUSIC | Shoeless Mondays w/ Ballroom Babies
Shoeless Mondays happens tonight at The Horseshoe Tavern, and this is a weekly cover-free new music night featuring up and coming local talent. Local three-piece, The Ballroom Babies (a very tight local power-pop unit) headline this evening, with Gin City Miracles, and Foresight For The Blind also on on the bill. Come out and support independent music!

PARTY | Moon Harbour Labour Day Yacht Party w/ Matthias Tanzmann + Martinez
An afternoon party cruise on the water means that you can still enjoy Labour Day to the fullest and be back to work tomorrow completely refreshed. This yacht party will feature two decks of entertainment including sounds from Matthias Tanzmann, Martinez, Jeff Button, Sam Haze, Pasha, Nitin, and others. The air show will be raging above, and you could be chilling below on the Stella Borealis, a vessel that has proven to be a great place to host this kind of nautical shindig.
