Toronto Zombie Walk
When the severed head is tossed, Zombie Walk begins. The annual walk of zombies sees the gore-enthused stumble through the city in costume during the 2-hour parade before catching live entertainment in Nathan Phillips Square at 5PM. The zombies will begin to gather in character at 12PM in the square. Whether you're playing a zombie, a terrified normie, or are coming to walk, be aware that the parade starts at 3PM sharp. HALLOWEEN

Slaughterhaus
Slaughterhaus is a multi-room audiovisual labyrinth that is part-nightmare, part-industrial horror show, which will see 99 Sudbury transformed into a blood-soaked haunted house and disco. Artist Marcel Fengler is the brains behind this masterpiece and along with other Toronto artists, he has created a Saturday night of terror. Taking the slaughter theme literally, the evening includes a pig roast outdoors with techno music and dancing going until the early hours. Art Toronto
Canada's only contemporary fine art fair is a 4 day expo at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Art Toronto showcases 110 galleries from 13 countries with all of Toronto's biggest and most promising galleries exhibiting. Panels and presentations will take place throughout the weekend as added entertainment to the 2200 pieces on display, attracting top collectors, buyers and industry professionals. Ai Weiwei: According To What?
Ai Weiwei's According To What?, an examination of freedom of expression and human rights, is approaching its final days. Closing Sunday at the AGO, the artist's exploration of the changing political landscapes in China and globally features photographs, sculpture, installation art, and audio and video pieces. Tickets are available and can be bundled for a discount to also see David Bowie is. Elaine Stocki
Fromer Grange Prize nominee, Winnipeg-based multidisciplinary artist Elaine Stocki is one of Canada's bright lights in the field of photography. Her staged photographs that probe issues related to the construction of gender and the complications of class and race are both visually stunning and typically haunting. Often shot from jarring angles, as if from the margins of the frame, one needs to dwell in front of her images for a while before their subtly critical nature starts to make sense. FOOD

Delicious Food Show
Martha Stewart, Chuck Hughes, Mark McEwan and David Rocco are in town to talk about food at the Delicious Food Show. Taking place at the Better Living Centre this weekend, this foodie trade show will feature cooking demos, tastings, hands-on workshops, book signings with the aforementioned celebrity chefs, and tips on hosting. Chance are you like eating, so this is the show where there is genuinely something for everyone. The Rhino Fall Beer & Cider Festival
Check out the wares of a ton of craft breweries and cideries (including a large number of Ontario ones) this weekend at this Parkdale beer-drinkers paradise. Canadian Beer News and the yet-to-launch, Canadian Cider News are presenting the event together. Sunday, October 27th, The Rhino (1249 Queen Street West,) Advance tickets are $25 (with early entry and 5 sample tickets) but general admission is free starting at 1pm.

OktoberFEAST2013
OktoberFEAST2013 means top brewers and food trucks will unite for a charitable cause at Brickwords tonight. Lederhosen and Bavarian gamsbart hats are encouraged. Proceeds will benefit the Canadian Cancer Society.
Evergreen Brickworks (550 Bayview Avenue), Friday, October 25th, 5pm. Tickets are $25 at the door.

Junction Pumpkinfest
The Junction Train Platform will host pumpkin carving, plus there will be pumpkin-themed activities and treats in participating businesses around the neighbourhood. Expect at least a few dogs in pumpkin costumes. Dundas St W at Pacific Ave, Saturday, October 26, 2PM - 6PM, free

The Weybourne Project
Over at Yonge & Lawrence, Society of Homo Ludens and LUFF art + dialogue have collected a huge array of performers including local favourites Colin Fisher and Isla Craig, plus environments (aka installation art) by about a dozen artists. Taking Place
A political musical performance and discussion, Taking Place is a concert for the critically-thinking artistic sect. Performances by Jeneen Frei Njootli, Sean Conway, Pantayo, Tara Williamson and Mourning Coup will go down in Unit 2 on Saturday night for those interested in learning and discovering new music. Double Double Land's 4th Anniversary
Kensington's Double Double Land celebrates its 4th anniversary in conjunction with the album release party for Sandro Perri's new Spaced Out 12" record. Live music will include a performance by Perri with Dundasa 80 as well as Prince Nifty and Sing Leaf. Perri will DJ the Saturday night party, but be sure to check out what's happening on the Friday night pre-celebration with three DJs and free food. 360 Screenings
An interactive and theatrical experience is what makes 360 Screenings more than just a trip to the cinema. With five Halloween-themed films screening this Friday and Saturday, each is a surprise, with the unique location announced just 24 hours prior. THEATRE

Evil Dead: The Musical
Five college kids head out to a cabin in the woods only to be confronted by demons in this bloody musical comedy. Adapted for stage over a decade ago, the show has now extended its recent Toronto run at the Randolph Theatre for another five weeks. Global Cabaret Festival
150 cabaret performers are gathering right now for the Global Cabaret Festival, celebrating dance, music and theatrical cabaret. Leading artists like Ins Choi, Molly Johnson, Sharron Matthews, Sophie Milman, Jackie Richardson and more will stage 15 original one-hour songbooks and cabarets for Toronto audiences. The Super Awesome Zine Fair
Zines are a way to share ideas and Nook Collective hosts a super awesome group-share this Saturday with the arrival of The Super Awesome Zine Fair. Local illustrators will sell and display their affordable art and zine work to introduce themselves to the community. International Festival Of Authors
Button up your cardigans and pull out your thick framed glasses, the International Festival of Authors is in town. Harbourfront Centre is hosting readings, talks, interviews and panels with major international authors like Stephen King, Margaret Atwood, Catherine Bush, Douglas Coupland, Helen Humphreys, Elizabeth Ruth, Beatriz Hausner, Anne Michaels, and Andrew Pyper. This year's focus is on young writers with several free artist talks about getting started in the business. IFOA runs until November 3rd. CRAFTS

Ooh La La! Market
The Ooh La La! Market is Toronto's eccentric craft fair, full of quirky curiosities and beautiful unpredictabilities. Handmade indie art, craft, design and vintage-inspired pieces are all a part of this two-day craft market at the Gladstone, which launches Saturday. 28 vendors will be a part of the show, selling their crafted goods. FASHION

The Wearable Art Show
The Wearable Art Show returns for its 7th year to sell Canadian-made clothing, jewelry and accessories. Crafted by 40 Canadian artists and designers, hundreds of pieces will be available to purchase on Friday and Saturday at the 918 Bathurst Centre for Culture. New this year is the Fashion History Museum, in which participating artists were asked to create pieces bridging the historical relationship between fashion and architecture. Fashion Saturday
To end Toronto Fashion Week Spring 2014, Fashion Saturday is a public event happening at the tents on (of course) Saturday. A $75 ticket gets you access to the runway room highlighting the week's best looks, a designer pop-up market, live DJs, hair and makeup installations, and (best of all) food. Drake General Store Shop By The Pound + Auction Sale
Perk up your ears, fashion lovers, Drake General Store is having a moving sale all this weekend which will take the form of a by-the-pound sale, plus an auction. Pop by their warehouse for sweet deals on clothing, curiosities, and furniture. Pedestrian Sundays in Kensington Market
Take to the streets one last time for the year during Pedestrian Sunday in Kensington Market. Music, street theatre and food stalls will open on Augusta Avenue, shutting down the road to cars this Sunday for the final Pedestrian Sunday of the season.
