Whether you're in the market for a cheap date idea or are just jonesing for a movie night, this one's for you. Head to the Royal Cinema on Monday night for a free screening of Dazed and Confused. Plan to arrive a little earlier than usual as the first 100 guests will be treated to free popcorn.

Hot Sauce Tasting (April 4)
Spice up your Monday night with a little hot sauce. Ivy Knight is hosting a tasting at the Drake Hotel featuring sauces by Diablo's Fuego, No.7, Fidel Gastro's, Well Preserved, The Drake, Pizzeria Libretto, Hopgood's Foodliner, Flock and more.

Dave Bookman's Nu Music Nite (April 5)
As per usual, Tuesday night shows are cost-free at the Horseshoe Tavern. This week Ringo Deathstarr, In Drift, The Paramount Kings and Mr.Jr. will be playing sets from 9 p.m. onwards. Expect to find the crowd full of new music lovers.

It Was Better With Wendel: Sports Trivia for the Cynical and Erudite (April 6)
Have limited sports knowledge but still want to get in some trivia? This is the event for you. Joshua Kloke is hosting a trivia night at the Junction City Music Hall based on things like the "Top 5 moustaches in baseball" instead of MVPs and stats.

Fameless Karaoke (April 8-9)
Let out your inner star by belting out high notes at the Gladstone Melody Bar this weekend at the hotel's newest event series. You'll probably need a little bit of liquid courage, so I suggest pre-gaming for this one.
