dynamite night market

There's a huge 3-day night market and lantern fest near Toronto

The first annual Dynamite Night Market is all set for next week, and it'll be a whole weekend pack with entertainment, flavourful food, and culture.

The new market comes from the creators of the smash-hit Toronto Waterfront Night Market, which served up delicious pan-Asian dishes at Ontario Place for one weekend only.

Aside from savoury meals and sweet treats, The Dynamite Night Market will also feature an Illuminasian floating latern and cultural showcase, which will fill up the site with hundreds of glowing laterns.

The night market takes place at the Markham Fairgrounds, which is less than an hour outside of Toronto.

The festival runs for one weekend only on Sept. 2 from 4 p.m. to midnight, Sept. 3 from 2 p.m. to midnight, and Sept. 4 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Early bird tickets are on sale now, and range from $15-18 plus tax depending on the day you purchase your ticket for.
