One of Toronto's most-anticipated street festivals descends upon the city this weekend for a full weekend of fun in the sun.

The countdown is officially on as Toronto gears up for the long-awaited return of the Salsa on St. Clair Festival, which brings some of the best food, music and dancing the city has to offer all to St. Clair Avenue.

Taking over St. Clair West from Winona to Christie on Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7, you'll be swept up in the sights and sounds of Toronto's vibrant Latin community starting at noon each day.

This is one of the only weekends of the year where dancing in the streets won't earn you any side-eyes — it's encouraged! No matter what time you visit, you'll be met with free, public dance lessons in styles like Cha Cha, Bachata and, yes, Salsa.

If spectating is more your speed, not to fear; there are also a slew of food and drink vendors offering tasty treats that you can tuck into while you watch your fellow festival goers hit the dance floor.

Both days of the festival kick off with a parade at 12:30 p.m. with live bands and dancing to get everyone in the party spirit and ready to dance.
