This upcoming weekend, the Latin Parade and Fall Fiesta will be taking over Yonge-Dundas Square and you won't want to miss it.

Hosted by the Hispanic Canadian Heritage Council, the festivities will highlight the culture and traditions of more than 20 South American countries. This will include endless options for food & drink, energetic dancing, and cultural art pieces.

The festival will commence with a large-scale parade that will venture up and around Bloor St. and Yonge St starting at 11 a.m. on September 28th. 

Representing over 50 Latin heritage groups from the GTA, Montreal, Buffalo and Kitchener, hundreds of marchers will take to the streets in support of their respective countries.

The vibrant colors and extravagant costumes featuring each country will surely be a spectacle you cannot miss.

The parade will lead the procession back to the city square for all festivities for the remainder of the two-day affair. Food, art, drink and craft vendors will all be present.

A designated platform for musical performances and speeches has been aptly named 'The Stage' which will feature live music throughout the duration of the festivities.

You can expect a variety of talent, such as 'mariachis and tango exhibitions,' according to festival organizers.

Festivities will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Yonge-Dundas Square and the surrounding area.
