This is what a $22 million mansion looks like in Toronto
This house has been featured on the most expensive mansions in Toronto lists in several places, including blogTO.
The mansion is described as "palatial" with manicured gardens, and the world's finest imported fixtures.
Unfortunately, there aren't many photos of the property out of respect for the "imminent owner's privacy" and "uniqueness of the designs and theme", according to the realtor.
But of what we can see of the five-bedroom, nine-bathroom house is beautiful.
The clean lines, the modern design and open concept layout all work together to create dramatic interiors.
There's undoubtedly plenty of character and high-end details throughout.
For example, this is how realtor Barry Cohen describes the two-storey gallery:
"The Gallery features heated imported Italian large slab porcelain floor, soaring cathedral ceiling with a skylight and decorative lens, art niches, crown molding, pot lights, and an offside suspended walnut staircase with a custom art deco wood railing and a custom brushed nickel plated handrail."
The primary bedroom suite is a whopping 2,000-square feet with a terrace, fireplace, a boutique-sized walk-in closet and an 11-piece ensuite.
This place also comes with a "Cineplex-like" home theatre, a piano bar, a Four Seasons inspired spa and a wine cellar. There are also indoor and outdoor hot tubs and a seven-car garage.
The pool area is very LA-inspired with a large 40-foot long Cabana and outdoor living room area.
It's now listed for $21,950,000, which fun fact, it's actually about $2 million more expensive than when it was first listed in 2020.
Why? No idea.
