This tiny Toronto home doubled in price in just one year
Just a little over a year ago the owners bought this house for $698,000. It was a small two-bedroom, one bathroom home with no garage. But as the listing said back then it had "stunning potential".
And boy did the new owners take that potential and run with it.
Since closing the sale in January 2020 they've fully renovated this home into a three-bedroom, three-bathroom two-storey beauty.
Now it's back on the market for $1,249,000.
The home now has a second storey extension, new electrical, new plumbing, new flooring, new insulation, new windows, new doors and new heating, ventilation and air conditioning, new siding and a finished basement.
In short, it's pretty much a whole new house.
They've gone pretty conventional in terms of the interior remodel with matte black fixtures in the bathrooms and kitchen with pops of gold here and there.
They chose light wood floors and an open concept main floor.
There's definitely a lot of IKEA being used, especially in the kitchen.
The backyard is really the only part of the whole property that didn't receive a makeover.
The only concern I would have as a potential buyer is that with quick flips like this often times the quality isn't the best.
Sure, the home looks pretty but is it going to hold up? Only time will tell.
