Maxime's is a Mediterranean-inspired spot located just south of King West's Entertainment District strip, on Portland St. 

Maxime's takes over the long-shuttered Shook space, who struggled to regain success after a large kitchen fire in September of 2019 and several re-openings.

The space, once designed to be airy and light to replicate a desert-like feel, now matches its King West company with Maxime's takeover. LED-screen pillars and red velvet curtains fill the space now, transporting customers to a swanky and retro European nightclub. 

The nightclub feel isn't just for show: every evening come 8:30pm, customers are entertained by a live DJ while they dine on eye-catching eats like their Seafood Towers or Baked Alaska dessert.  

Maxime's is located at 77 Portland St.
