Pearl Yorkville
Pearl Yorkville is the newest and fourth location for the restaurant specializing in Cantonese cuisine and everyday dim sum.
Perhaps best known for their picturesque Harbourfront location, the new spot offers diners a change of scenery with the same delicious menu and elegant interiors just south of Bloor.
From the entrance, the space is expansive and carefully designed to be wheelchair accesible. Seating is available along floor-to-ceiling windows or in booths in a warm wood accented dining room in the back.
The move to Yorkville was a long time coming. General Manager Andrew Lai tells blogTO, "We pride ourselves on high-quality food and the move here felt natural to us."

The menu is priced according to dish size, with small plates going for $8, medium for $10, large $11, and specials at $13.
The two main sections of the menu are split into fried and steamed. We tried the Shrimp Toast ($11) and Har Kau shrimp dumplings ($11). The toast came as a bite-sized ball on a deep-fried slice of circular toast.
It was crunchy on first bite, but the shrimp ball inside was juicy and bursting with flavour.
The steamed Spareribs with Black Bean Sauce ($8) are a must-order. Well marinated in a salty black bean, the meat is super tender and falls right off the bone.
There's also a Chef's Specials section where you'll find things like fried noodles, squid tentacles, and sticky rice in lotus leaves.
This bowl of Poached Bok Choy ($13) came glistening in aromatic oil and was a good accompaniment to the meats and seafood.
Another section of the menu is dedicated to chewy rice noodle rolls, also known as cheung fun. Shrimp ($11) is a classic order and the dish comes with three rolls each filled with three shrimps. You can also try it with scallops ($11), vegetable ($10), or beef and coriander ($10).
Congee is only available on weekends and public holidays, so make sure to plan your visit accordingly if you're looking for a comforting bowl of something hot.
On the regular menu that offers Cantonese cuisine, you can order larger plates like specialities, noodles, and seafood.
For large groups, try the Braised Lobster with Ginger & Green Onion ($90), which comes in a hefty 2.5 lb order. The crustacean is served in pieces that make it easy for you to scoop out the soft meat inside.
An order of Peking Duck ($95) comes as a generous two courses. Slices of tender roasted duck can be wrapped in a chewy pancake and topped with refreshing cucumber and green onion slices, then finished off with a spoonful of stirfry duck served in lettuce bowls.
The final section of the menu is desserts, and there are plenty of treats to finish your meal on a sweet note with like Sesame Balls ($8), Fried Chestnut Cake ($8), and classic Hong Kong Egg Tarts ($8).
With an extensive dim sum menu available until 4 p.m., you can most definitely satisfy your yum cha cravings any day of the week here.
