Rolltation
Rolltation is all about sushi burritos and poke bowls. It's mostly a take-out spot - there's a small wooden counter with several stools that act as the only dine-in spaces.
The offerings here are 100% customizable. You select a whole host of ingredients, and decide on whether you'd like them in a sushi burrito, poke bowl, or salad.
Most diners usually opt for one of the many signature offerings that have been pre-selected for your convenience. I try a variety of the house favourites on my visit.
The Classic Salmon ($13.99) is packed with fresh chunks of salmon, avocado, red onions, sweet corn, and tangerine.
The Wasabi Tuna ($14.99) is fresh raw tuna with slightly sweet tamago (egg), avocado and lotus root chips. There's lots of interesting texture here but I'd opt to remove the seaweed salad and overpowering wasabi mayo.
The signature burrito is the 207 Rolltation ($12.99). It's one of the most unique and creative rolls I've tried, with chicken, sweet corn, jalapeno slices, purple potato, and meat floss in a mild curry sauce. It's immensely satisfying.
I get the Kimchi Beef ($12.99) in poke form. Large pieces of asparagus and generous helpings of kidney beans combine with warm beef and kimchi and rice. The raspberry BBQ sauce drizzled on the dish ties the whole thing together very well.
