brain scarfin', awesome

IADT Flash Game Design Contest

When I get home from work, I become torn between 5 different things; God of War, Guitar Hero 2, Xenosaga Ep1, Zelda: Twilight Princess, and my wife. It's a hard choice. Lately it's been a battle between Xenosaga and my better half. I'm unsure who'll prevail...

But at work it's a simple choice between actually working or killing time with some awesome free flash games online that my IT department doesn't seem to know I'm playing. Flash games are awesome for a number of reasons, not the least of which being their general lack of cost, and the fact that most people have computers fast enough to play the games. Truly, Flash game developers are amongst the most noble of people on this planet.

IADT and Electric Playground would like to know if you fall into that category. Do you eat, sleep and breathe Action Script? Did you let out a belly laugh when all the nubs complained about Macromedia taking out the "beginner" scripting mode a few years ago? I was one of those nubs, but nonetheless, if you have a Flash game cooking, or can whip one out in the next few weeks, do it, as IADT is offering a mondo scholarship to whomever wins their game design contest.

Come on Toronto, time to kick the crap out of Alien Hominid and 5 Minutes to Kill Yourself.

Rules, regulations, and specific information can be had at iadt.elecplay.com/contest
