Rooftop hockey rink spotted in downtown Toronto

There's a mysterious new ice rink in Toronto, one that's a little more exhilarating than the pond at Nathan Phillips Square.

That's because this one is located on a rooftop in the Financial District. According to Instagram user @triptime1965, who posted a photo of the rink earlier today, the sky-high surface is by York and Adelaide Street West.

Some believe it's a part of Molson Canadian's #AnythingForHockey campaign. We reached out for comment and while the beer company is aware of the rink, it's not ready to release any information about it at press time.

If you were getting excited to skate along the skyline, you're probably out of luck because sadly, the brand's social media contest closed on December 10, 2015.

Have you seen the rooftop rink yet? Let us know in the comments.
