Rollerpony Toronto

Rollerpony is Toronto's newest indoor roller skating rink and it's massive

Rollerpony is Toronto's newest destination for adults-only indoor roller skating, with a massive 34,000 square foot facility including skate rentals, a pro shop, barber shop, arcade games, and even delicious Caribbean food.

Brought to you from the same team of people behind Pursuit OCR, Rollerpony is just steps away from the indoor obstacle course's Etobicoke location in Rexdale.

From the moment you step inside the unassuming industrial building, you'll be wowed by the expansive space with colourful dancing lights, pulsating music, and the huge 20,000 square foot skating rink itself, featuring the world's largest indoor mural as the floor.

Rollerpony's 20,000 square foot skating floor features an Asian fantastical mural designed by Aurora Kruk and executed by Young Jarus and the team at 1 Day Creates.

The arena focuses on quad skating for all levels, and you can rent your skates right on site provided by skate shop Retro Rollers.

The arena's design plays with retro design elements, from bright colours to a sparkling disco ball in the centre of the roller rink.

Stash your personal belongings in one of their free lockers before lacing up and heading out to the rink.

For those not-so-sure footed, there's a smaller 1000 square foot mini rink to practice your moves before braving up to hit the main floor.

You can rent classic Reidell “peanut butter” skates provided by local skate shop Retro Rollers.

After working up an appetite, grab a bite from the onsite Caribbean restaurant Flava Ceen, offering classic Jamaican Patties or larger meals of jerk, fried, or BBQ chicken and rice served on Friday and Saturdays.

Saturday Life Barbershop offers hair cuts beside the roller rink, with talented barbers ready to give guests a little refresh if they wish.

Want a fresh fade before showing off your skating moves? Saturday Life Barbershop is posted up right beside the rink, with two barber chairs ready for anyone in need of a hair cut.

Outfitted with two barber chairs, the space has their own unique design with a green accent wall, curved mirrors, and old school black and white tiled floors.

Calling the space's design "a love letter to the culture", the owners wanted to add their own flavour to roller skating while honouring its legacy.

"Turmeric colored blocks and brightly lit features call back to Bo Kaap, Willemstad, Marrakesh and Port Au Prince, our mural featuring the Asian fantastical; all nods to the many cultures that built this city," the website reads.

Rollerpony also offers beginner classes for anyone looking to learn the basics, or just brush up on their skills.

The arena has a rotating line up of DJs and events you can scope out on their website. If you're looking to brush up on your skating techniques, they also offer classes for beginners.

Fitting in with the theme, the arena has a variety of arcade games for additional fun.

While the rink provides skate rentals, they do not offer safety equipment like helmets or knee pads, but you're welcome to bring your own.
