Here's how to get tickets for the 2026 FIFA World Cup games in Toronto

The ticket-buying process for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Canada, the U.S.A., and Mexico has begun.

That includes games in Canada's two host cities, Vancouver and Toronto, as well as the other 14 host cities in the United States and Mexico.

On Thursday, FIFA began inviting fans to place "priority access" deposits for "front-of-the-line access to hospitality packages." These are ticket-inclusive packages offering "premium seating that includes food and beverage." Think private suites, shared lounges, and other high-end experiences.

Deposits cost US$500 per person (nearly $700 in Canadian dollars) and are fully refundable.

This process is separate from general ticket sales, which are expected to begin next year via a lottery. Fans can register their interest for tickets to the 2026 World Cup via FIFA.com.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be the largest one ever, with an expanded tournament welcoming 48 countries (up from 32) to North America. It'll also mark the first time that three countries (Canada, USA, Mexico) host a men's World Cup.

Canada will host 13 of the 104 matches. Seven are set for BC Place in Vancouver, while six matches will be played at BMO Field in Toronto.
