how to watch super bowl canada

Here's how to watch the Super Bowl in Canada in 2025

Super Bowl LIX is set, and once again, the Kansas City Chiefs will be there.

The Chiefs have a chance to do something that no NFL team has ever done: win three championships in a row.

Standing in their way are the Philadelphia Eagles, who Patrick Mahomes and company defeated in the big game two years ago.

When and where is Super Bowl LIX?

New Orleans is hosting the Super Bowl for the 11th time, having last hosted in 2013.

Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 9. Pre-game shows on television begin much earlier than that, though.

How to watch and stream the Super Bowl in Canada

There are multiple ways to watch and stream the Super Bowl in Canada.
TSN and CTV will air the game on television as per usual.

You can also stream the Super Bowl via TSN.ca, with monthly subscriptions available for $19.99. DAZN is streaming it in Canada, too, with monthly subscriptions available for $34.99.

Who's performing the Halftime Show?

Kendrick Lamar is performing the Halftime Show this year. It's the second time the hip hop artist has featured in this event, as he was one of the high-profile artists who performed in LA at the 2022 game, along with Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, and Anderson .Paak.

Will Taylor Swift be there again?

You know she will be.

Taylor Swift was seen on the field celebrating with Travis Kelce after the Chiefs' AFC Championship win in Kansas City on Sunday. You can bet Swift will be at the Super Bowl, cheering on her boyfriend in New Orleans, just like she did in Las Vegas last year.

Will we see American commercials this year?

We won't be seeing American ads in Canada once again this year, at least not through the official broadcast — even if you tune into Fox. American Super Bowl commercials were allowed to air on Canadian television from 2017 to 2019 after the CRTC ruled that they had become part of the spectacle.

But a ruling by the Supreme Court reversed that decision, as it determined that the CRTC went beyond its scope under the Broadcasting Act.

So, for the sixth year in a row, you'll be watching whatever ads have been purchased through Bell Media in Canada.
