Hit the beach
With sandy shorelines and Caribbean-esque blue waters, it's no secret Bayfield's beaches are its main draw. There are three to choose from: Main Beach, Howard Beach, and Houston Heights.
Main Beach is the most popular, featuring a sandy shore that is family-friendly with drive-up access, parking, and public restrooms. It also boasts Blue Flag status, meaning the water quality is clean and accessible.
Take in the scenery at Pioneer Park
Sitting atop the edge of the bluff overlooking Lake Huron, Pioneer Park is one of the most picturesque spots in the village with a winding wooden stairway that leads down to the water.
There is a beach area as well as a well-maintained green space in the park, which makes for the perfect picnic spot. There are several tables and benches to relax at while taking in the view.
