You can now take a thrilling ride through Niagara Falls' whitewater rapids

Niagara Falls' most thrilling water adventure is now open for the season, letting you take an action-packed jet boat ride through the river's powerful rapids.

Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours, which has been offering tours on the Niagara River since 1992, is back for its 32nd season with three unique experiences for guests to choose from.

Anyone who has tried whitewater rafting before can attest to the sheer fun of it, and now you can experience it within the epic Niagara River from the safety of a jet boat.

For the most daring adventurers, you can opt for a 45-minute open-topped Wet Jet Boat, feeling the river's power while getting splashed by the waves as the captain navigates the rapids and performs 360-degree turns at high speeds.

The tour company also offers their Freedom Jets, which have both wet seats and dry seats indoors. While on the journey, you'll learn about the river's historical significance and feel the thrill of Devil's Hole class 5 whitewater and the magnitude of the whirlpool.

Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours are open from now until October. You can depart from either the Canadian and American sides of the Niagara River out of Queenston, Ontario, or Lewiston, New York.

Tickets start at $74.95 for adults, and $44.95 for children 6 to 12, which you can book in advance online.

There are several other ways to experience the whitewater rapids while staying dry. You can walk along this epic boardwalk with views of the river, ride above them in a vintage cable car, or balance on tightropes high above at an adventure course.
